Heritage Kids is more than just a program; it's a community where children can:

Belong

To God's Family

Encounter

The Presence of the Holy Spirit

Become

Transformed by Jesus Christ

Philosophy

Heritage Kids exists to help kids take a step toward owning their own faith. We win when a kid takes a step toward owning their faith.

Taking a Step

We believe spiritual growth is a lifelong journey without a final certificate. That’s why we define success simply: every time a child takes a step closer to owning their faith, we win.

Owning Their Faith

What does it look like for a child to own their faith? We focus on four spiritual habits that both drive and demonstrate spiritual growth: Spend Time With God, Spend Time With Others, Use Their Gifts, and Share Their Story.

Classroom Ages

Each class offers age appropriate activities, lessons, and worship. Ages are grouped differently at the two campuses:

Curriculum

Heritage Kids utilizes the Grow Strategy, a comprehensive curriculum designed for children from birth through 5th grade. Our goal is simple: to help every child develop a deeper, personal relationship with Jesus.

Every week, our kids experience:

  • Engagement: Diving into God’s Word through age-appropriate lessons and high-energy videos.

  • Expression: Worshiping God together through music and hands-on crafts or activities.

  • Connection: Elementary students participate in small groups to discuss how to apply Biblical lessons to their real lives.

By focusing on practical application, we help kids deepen their understanding and prepare them to live out their faith confidently at home and in school.

Safety

Volunteer Safety & Training
For your peace of mind, all volunteers undergo annual background checks, provide references, and complete an onboarding process with staff-led training. Our team follows a comprehensive handbook to ensure a safe, nurturing environment for every child.

Check-In & Security
Upon arrival, your child will receive a name badge with a unique code that matches your parent pickup tag. To ensure security, our checkpoint allows only approved volunteers and families with active tags into the Heritage Kids areas.

Classroom Care
When dropping off your child, please alert our volunteers to any allergies or special needs. We maintain high volunteer-to-child ratios so that every child is known, seen, and supervised in a fun environment.

Secure Pickup
To pick up your child, simply present your matching tag to the classroom leader. We will verify the unique code before releasing your child to you, ensuring a safe end to their experience.
