Rock Island Campus

Welcome to Heritage Church – Rock Island Campus.

If you are new to Heritage, we look forward to meeting you soon. If you’ve recently visited or are a member of Heritage, thank you  as well.  We hope you find everything you’re looking for within these few online pages.  However, there is no substitute for an actual human touch experience.  Should you not find something you’re looking for, please let us know by calling 309.788.2030.  We’ll be more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have.

Heritage Church Rock Island Campus is located by the Rock River.  It’s our backyard, if you will.  We actually have River Baptisms once a year, at the river.  But that’s just one event.  We’re so blessed by our members to be able to provide dozens upon dozens of events through out the year.  We host several local events that, including some that are not directly related to Heritage.  We open up our doors to organizations that seek to bless our Quad Cities.
We have many other ministries including children’s, teen and pre-teen ministries. They are always full of excitement and fun. We also have young adults group, various Journey groups and much more!  If you’re looking for a church to call home, then stop by Heritage.  We will welcome you in and make you part of the family.

Feel free to expedite your initial check-in of your children by completing this form prior to your first visit. (Click here to download.)

Nursery (Infants, Ones, Twos)

Caring leaders help make our nursery a warm, welcoming, and safe place to be each service. We believe that even our youngest children can experience God’s love. We strive to welcome each child, pray over them, sing with them, play with them, and pour lots of God’s love into them. We have stories, music, and a small lesson for two year olds to help children learn that God’s word is real! It’s exciting to be a part of imparting God’s love into the littlest of His Kingdom.

Pre-K & Kindergarten (3 yrs and 4-Kindergarten)

Get in on the fun with PreK-K! We worship together, learn about the Bible through interactive video lessons, small groups and of course, playing together! Here your child will build positive relationships with caring leaders who help them to understand the lesson through games and activities. Join us one week! Parents are always welcome and encouraged to serve and learn about Jesus with their child!

Elementary Students (Grades 1– 6)

Our elementary area is bursting with excitement at every weekend service. Kids come for the fun! Music! Crafts! Games! And that’s only the beginning! Your child will stay because they know that not only is this a great place to be but they are loved and cared for.

Our lessons are created so that children in all age groups are learning the same Bible verses and Bible story each week. More importantly, these lessons are designed to help support YOU as you teach foundational truths at home. Each week your child will bring home an activity sheet that lists fun family activities that are based on that week’s.

AWANA (3yrs to 6th grade)

Heritage Church is pleased to offer Awana Bible Club for kids on Tuesday nights. “Consistent presentation of the Bible, Bible memory, circle games, evangelistic focus, and great leadership training,” are just a few high points of this exciting Bible Club for kids.

Ages 3-5 are in the Cubbies Group. Kindergarten through second grade children are in the Sparks group. The T&T (Truth & Training) group is the third through fifth grade students. Everyone meets in the Student Center before breaking out to their classrooms. Check out what AWANA is all about at To register for AWANA, download the registration form here or pick one up in the HUB, however if you prefer online registration simply click on this link and proceed to the secure check out.

Heritage Student Ministry

Middle School (JV)

Grades 6th – 8th
On JV nights students will find a place where they are accepted for who they are and always loved by God. Each night includes a hang out time with friends and leaders, speaking on Bible truths that relate to real life, and crazy (and sometimes odd), but fun competitions. Students are matched with a small group to challenge them to grow spiritually and live their faith outside the church. Events are also planned throughout the year. It’s a night you don’t want to miss.

High School (HS)

Grades 9th – 12th
On HS nights a student band leads worship and all are challenged with God’s Word. There’s time to just hang out with other students and have a good time. It’s a great place to invite friends, worship, and learn how to make a difference in the world. Student are matched to a small group based on their spiritual needs so that they can experience more growth in their relationship with Christ and the other students. And with our crazy youth pastor, there are always fun competitions and great events.
