Welcome to Heritage Bettendorf Campus.
We have a motto here, “People Matter to God… They Matter to Us!” It’s true. You matter, your family matters, your friends matter, and we want to be a place that helps you to find answers to your difficult questions in life.
No matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you think you’ve done, we tell everyone here, “come as you are!” We invite you to connect with a community of imperfect people that are exploring the same questions in life you are. We are working through many of the same challenges that face all of us.
We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we do believe those answers can be found through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and his challenge for us to love God and love each other.
So, come as you are.
However, there’s a second important part to that statement that’s just as important, “Come as you are… but don’t stay that way!” Jesus consistently challenged us towards life change. This Christian journey we are invited to step into is a constant journey of growth and change as we strive to become the people God designed us to be. What’s the point? It’s simply this: Growing people change, and we want to help you grow as you navigate your journey of faith.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know us brief. We want to personally invite you to join a movement of people much like yourself, that is passionate about helping others in our community and a desire to make a difference in the world. It is our sincere desire to come alongside your journey as you explore life’s questions and find out what it means to live out God’s love for all. Together we can find answers to the tough issues of life as we seek to make a difference in this world around us.
Hope to see you soon!
Feel free to expedite your initial check-in of your children by completing this form prior to your first visit. (Click here to download.)
NURSERY: (Ages birth-2 years)
Caring leaders help make our nurseries a warm, welcoming, and safe place to be each service. We believe that even our youngest children can experience God’s love. We strive to welcome each child, pray over them, sing with them, play with them, and pour lots of God’s love into them. It’s exciting to be a part of imparting God’s love into the littlest of His Kingdom.
PRE-K and KINDERGARTEN: (Ages 3 years-Kindergarten)
Children are invited each weekend to start their journey with Christ. Here your child will build positive relationships with caring leaders and discover that truth from the Bible. Each hour consists of worship, a Bible story, and creative activities/games designed to bring home God’s Word. Join us one week! Parents are always welcomed and encouraged to serve and learn about Jesus with their child!
ELEMENTARY STUDENTS: (Grades 1-6)
The Elementary grades begin learning more aspects about God and what it means in their own lives as a Christ-follower. A wide range of activities are used to help them connect the Bible to the everyday situations an Elementary student faces, and challenges them to live what they believe.
BRIDGE: (Sunday only: Grades 4-6)
The Bridge class literally bridges the gap between GO!Kids and JV Statik student ministry. The age-appropriate topics in this class tackle real-life questions a pre-teen faces about life and helps them discover what the Bible says about those topics.
Not ready to check your newborn into the Nursery just yet? The upstairs Family Room is a quiet place where you can feed, change, or give your baby some tummy time while you watch the service on a flat screen TV.
AWANA: (Ages 3yrs-6th grade)
Awana is a great program for kids to connect with other kids and adults, learning about Jesus in a deeper way. It’s also a ton of fun! Have kids between 3 years old and 6th grade? Join us Tuesday nights from 5:55-7:30 pm! To register for AWANA, complete a registration form (download here) or get one in the Lobby.
Get Social With Go Kids
Grades: 6th – 12th Sunday Mornings from 10:45-11:45am
Illuminate is a student ministries service held on Sunday mornings during the 10:45 a.m. service. They currently meet in the Women’s Choice Center. They gather in the main lobby before service, walk down as a group for Illuminate, and walk back up to the lobby prior to service ending. A scripture and discussion topic is chosen for each week. Students come knowing that this is a safe place to ask questions, have a discussion about it, and get biblical answers from the leaders they trust.
Grades: 6th – 12th Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8:30pm
Students will find HSM- Bettendorf Campus to be a place where they are accepted, known, and loved for who they are as a child of God. Each night includes a hang out time with friends and leaders, worship with a live band led by students, speaking on Biblical truths that relate to real life, and crazy, but fun competitions. Students are matched with a community group and leader to challenge them to grow their faith relationally with each other, spiritually in relationship with God, and practically in their life outside the church. There are service projects every month to get involved in and another hang out time each week for students to spend time together with their leaders and pastor. It’s a developing and growing family that everyone is welcome and encouraged to be a part of. It’s a great place to invite friends, worship, and learn how to make a difference in the world.
