Our passion is to meet students wherever they are on their spiritual journey and lead them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ in order to live sent.
Preparing students to transform the world by providing opportunities for them to live loved, linked, and sent as a part of the church.
Heritage Church believes strongly in living loved and linked so that we may, ultimately, live sent. At HSM we strive to give students a place to know love. We want them to know the love of God and live out that love in community, linked with others. The next step to that is living sent. Go make disciples, leaders and churches. Students can go too and we want to encourage them to tell their friends about Jesus and invite their friends to church. Therefore, the core values of HSM are found in three words: Harmonized, Specialized, and Multiplied. In order for a student to live SENT, we believe they need to be Harmonized, Specialized, and Multiplied.
Harmonized: is to provide students with an environment where they feel loved by God in order for him or her to understand- “as all God’s people should- how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is” (Ephesians 3:18, NLT).
Specialized: is to link students together with others students, mentors, leaders, and opportunities where they will receive specialized training in order to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. For a student to be specialized this idea is similar to the military term of special operations or special opts.
Multiplied: is to empower specialized students to take action through living SENT. This is where specialized students will be making disciples that make disciples for Jesus Christ throughout the world. In other words, HSM will specialize students in multiplying disciples, leaders, and churches.
For Grades 6th to 8th. Students will find a place where they are accepted for who they are and always loved by God. Each night includes a hangout time with friends and leaders, worship with a live band led by students, Bible truths that related to real life, and crazy (and sometimes odd) but fun competitions. Students are matched with a small group to challenge them to grow spiritually and live their faith outside the walls of the church. Events are also planned through the year. It’s a night you don’t want to miss.
For Grades 9th – 12th. A student band leads worship and all are challenged with God’s Word. There’s time to just hang out with other students and have a good time. It’s a great place to invite friends, worship and learn how to make a difference in the world. All this combined with our crazy youth pastors, fun competitions and great events. It’s the place to be each week!
